Live  AgentPay

Give your agents a budget, not a stack of API subscriptions.

AgentPay lets AI agents pay for the APIs they use, one call at a time, from a single prepaid balance. You never pay for failed, slow or repeated calls. Spending can never exceed the balance, and the API keys are never stored inside your agent.

Example calls from one agent's wallet

Why teams use it

No monthly plans

Pay for each successful call instead of a subscription for every API your agent uses occasionally.

No surprise bills

Failed and timed-out calls are free, retries are never charged twice, and spending stops when the prepaid balance runs out.

No keys in your agent

API keys are stored encrypted on our side and added to each request. Even if your agent is compromised, those keys stay safe.

Real-world examples

Travel

A travel-planning agent

WithoutWeather, maps and flight data require three sign-ups, three monthly plans and three secret keys inside the agent, all for a few hundred calls a month.
WithOne key and one balance. The agent pays a few cents per successful call and never sees the API keys.
monthly feessetup time
Reliability

An unreliable network connection

WithoutThe agent retries the same paid request five times and is billed five times. Slow calls that time out are billed too.
WithA retried request is charged only once. Calls that exceed the time limit are stopped and cost nothing.

Control

An agent stuck in a loop

WithoutA bug sends thousands of paid calls overnight, charged to a card with no limit.
WithSpending stops when the prepaid balance runs out. Every call is logged with its cost and timing.

Security

An agent's configuration is exposed

WithoutThe API keys in its configuration are exposed and must be replaced with every provider.
WithThe agent only ever had its AgentPay key. You revoke it in one place, and the API keys were never exposed.

What it does

Charged on success only
The price is reserved before the call and charged only when the API answers with a 2xx status. Errors, timeouts and unreachable APIs cost nothing.
Never charged twice
Every call carries an Idempotency-Key. Retrying a completed call returns the original response with no second charge, for 24 hours.
Time limits enforced
Each route has a response time limit (SLA). If the API has not answered in time, the call is cut off, answered with 504, and not charged.
API keys stay with us
Destination API keys are stored encrypted and added to each request on the way out. Your agent never holds them, and its own key is never forwarded.
Prices you can see
Every route shows its price per call before you use it. Prices are set by us, so a client can never change what it is charged.
Every call on record
Each call is logged with its status, the API's response code and how long it took. Every charge also appears in the wallet history.

How it works

  1. Pick a route. GET /v1/routes lists the APIs available, with their price and time limit.
  2. Call through AgentPay. Send the request to agentpay.myuiaf.com/v1/proxy/<route>/<path> with your key and an Idempotency-Key.
  3. Get the API's answer. The response comes back unchanged, with headers showing what was charged and your remaining balance.

Questions

What is AgentPay?

AgentPay is a pay-per-call gateway. An AI agent calls a paid API through agentpay.myuiaf.com with its own key; AgentPay adds the API's key on the way out, checks the wallet, and charges only for calls that succeed in time.

When am I charged?

Only when the destination API answers with a 2xx status within the route's time limit. Error responses, timeouts, unreachable APIs and retries with the same Idempotency-Key are not charged.

What does a call cost?

Each route shows its price. Flat routes cost $0.01 per successful call. Pass-through routes cost the API's own price plus 5%, rounded up to the cent.

Does my agent ever see the API's key?

No. Destination API keys are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and added to each request server-side. The agent's own key is never forwarded to the API.

Can I retry a call safely?

Yes. Send the same Idempotency-Key: a completed call returns its original response again with no second charge, for 24 hours.

Can I list my own API on AgentPay?

Yes. Routes are added by hand. Contact [email protected] or use the contact form with your API's details.

Have an API agents should pay for?

We add APIs to AgentPay individually. If you run an API and want agents to pay for it per call, or you need an API that isn't listed yet, tell us about it.

Works with Freshness Validator

The same key and wallet work on Freshness Validator, which tells your agent when what it knows has changed at the source.
