Freshness Validator

Privacy policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

This policy explains what Freshness Validator, a service operated by International and Pacific Enterprises, LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company ("we", "us"), collects and why.

What we collect

  • Account details. Name, email address, and company, if you send them through the contact form or by email.
  • API activity. Agent identifiers, the source URLs you register, request timestamps, and usage and credit records.
  • Content you submit. The context text you send is scored in memory to produce a result. We do not store it. We keep a one-way hash of it only to return as context_hash, and that hash is not stored either.
  • Source content. For each public page you register, its text reduced to lowercase words (up to about 12,000 words) and a hash of it, used to detect changes and to match your context. Deleting a source deletes this text.
  • Security data. A one-way hash of the IP address behind failed login attempts, kept for up to 30 minutes, used to block repeated key guessing.
  • Operational logs. Cloudflare Workers logs request metadata such as the path, status code, and timing, and error messages. They do not include request bodies.

API keys

We store API key secrets only as SHA-256 hashes. A key is shown once, when it is created.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the data it handles.

Infrastructure

The Service and this website run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request data as our infrastructure provider.

How we use data

We use data to run, secure, and bill for the Service, to answer your requests, and to improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to keep some billing records as the law requires.
